The donation I made on this past Wednesday brought my blood donation total to 3 gallons. Yippee!
Also, in some parts of the US, blood donations are handled by United Blood Services.
Three gallons... that's amazing!
I got to 23 pints in the UK (it would have been more, but I tried to give platelets on a number of occasions (and failed as my blood pressure was too low to get the blood out of my body!), which knocked me out of the system for a year). They won't take my blood here in NZ because of the risk of BSE/vCJD :-(
