Sometimes it feels like every night in the ER is Halloween.Wearing her way-too-tight shirt costume, a patient walked up to triage:
Pt: "I feel weak and dizzy."
RN: "When was the last time you had anything to eat?"
Pt: "Yesterday."
RN: "Why so long ago?"
Pt: "I was too lazy to make anything."
RN: (eye role)
The patient was given a box lunch, which she dropped in her extra large purse, and promptly walked out of the waiting room.
Maybe we should just leave a bowl of candy on our doorstep?
